MAP Policy
TIS WHEELS MINIMUM ADVERTISED PRICE (MAP) POLICY
To protect our dealer network and preserve the prestige of the TIS Wheels brand (“TIS
Wheels” or the Company”), TIS Wheels has unilaterally adopted this Minimum Advertised
Price Policy (“MAP Policy”).
Advertising practices that focus primarily on price can damage brand image, erode market
value, and weaken the goodwill associated with our trademarks and brand. This MAP Policy
ensures that all TIS Wheels products are advertised and promoted in a manner that
maintains the integrity, reputation, and long-term value of the TIS Wheels brand. It also
prevents unauthorized discounters from freeriding on the marketing investments made by
authorized dealers.
This MAP Policy applies to all consumer sales of TIS Wheels branded products (“Products”).
TIS Wheels does not request or require agreement to comply; however, non-compliance
will result in the consequences as set forth herein.
Minimum Advertised Price
The minimum advertised price (“MAP”) for each Product can be found here:
https://tiswheels.com/map-policy/
Resellers may not advertise any Product below the established MAP. Notwithstanding the
foregoing, this MAP Policy does not restrict a reseller’s ability to independently set their
actual resale price. We recognize that resellers are free to make decisions related to the
price at which the Products are sold without consulting the Company.
MAP pricing is set exclusively by TIS Wheels and may be updated at any time. If a Product
does not appear on the current MAP sheet or new product release sheets, it is not subject to
this MAP Policy. The most recently published MAP sheet is always considered in effect.
Failure to receive, acknowledge, or download an updated MAP sheet does not exempt
compliance. The most recent MAP sheet may always be obtained by emailing
map@tiswheels.com.
Scope of Advertisements
This MAP Policy applies to all public-facing advertisements, including online listings, ecommerce
platforms, mobile applications, search engine advertisements, printed materials,
marketplace listings, social media posts or shop integrations, SMS, automated messages,
and any digital or traditional media where pricing is publicly displayed.
Prohibited Promotions
The following are prohibited if they result in an advertised price below MAP:
• Coupons, promo codes, rebates, Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotions, bundled offers
(with or without TIS Wheel products), loyalty or membership discounts, free premiums tied
directly to price reductions, and app-only discounts.
• Strike-through pricing, “call for price,” “email for lowest price,” “best offer,” “add to cart to
see price,” or any phrasing implying a below-MAP price are prohibited to the extent a price
below MAP is displayed prior to the Products being placed in a customer’s shopping cart.
With that said, discounts in this form are permissible so long as the final net price is only
shown “in cart.”
• Any pricing method intended to bypass this MAP Policy are prohibited, including cart-triggered
price reductions (other than as set forth above), abandoned-cart or retargeting
emails with discounted pricing, dynamic or algorithmic pricing, browser-history-based
pricing, IP-based or geo-located pricing, mobile-app-exclusive discounts, or automated
pricing triggered by user behavior.
• The Company may deem any action as non-compliant with this MAP Policy if it is intended
to circumvent or has the effect of circumventing the letter or spirit of the MAP Policy.
Permitted Promotions
The following do not violate this MAP Policy, provided the advertised price remains at or
above MAP:
• Free shipping
• Free handling
• Free financing
• Non-TIS gift-with-purchase promotions
• “Friends & Family” promotions
Advertisements stating a reseller has the “lowest prices,” will “beat competitors’ prices,” or
similar language are permitted, so long as the advertised price adheres to this MAP Policy.
Responsibility for Marketplace, Affiliate & Dropship Channels
Resellers are fully responsible for MAP compliance across all channels they control or
influence, including marketplace storefronts, software-managed or feed-driven listings,
affiliate or influencer storefronts, dropship partners, API-connected catalogs, and thirdparty
listing or repricing services. Violations by affiliates, partners, or automated systems
will be treated as violations by the reseller.
TIS Wheels Promotional Events
TIS Wheels may temporarily adjust or suspend MAP requirements during official brand
promotions. TIS Wheels reserves the right to modify MAP pricing or the MAP Policy terms
at this time. Any promotions, adjustments, or suspensions are only valid for the time period
specified by TIS Wheels.
No Third-Party Rights & No Price Discussions
Resellers may not discuss competitors’ pricing with TIS Wheels. TIS Wheels will not
respond to inquiries or requests involving other dealers’ pricing.
No Agreement Implied
This MAP Policy is not a contract, and TIS Wheels will not solicit or accept agreement to
comply.
TIS Sole Discretion
All interpretations, enforcement actions, exceptions, and modifications are made solely at
the discretion of TIS Wheels.
TIS WHEELS MAP ENFORCEMENT & THREE-STRIKE POLICY
Monitoring & Enforcement
TIS Wheels actively monitors advertised pricing across all platforms. TIS Wheels enforces a
Three-Strike Policy with respect to pricing violations and reserves the right to take
corrective action in accordance with this policy.
Strike 1
Written notification of violation(s), immediate service disruption, written confirmation of
corrective action required, follow-up compliance audit requiring 100% compliance, and
service reinstated within 14 days after approval.
Strike 2
Second written notification, immediate service disruption, written confirmation required,
full MAP compliance audit, and service reinstated within 30 days after approval.
Strike 3
Third written notification, immediate service suspension, written confirmation required,
full compliance audit requiring complete adherence, and service reinstated within 90 days
after approval.
Habitual or Repeat Violators
TIS Wheels may classify any reseller with repeated or intentional MAP violations as a
habitual violator and bypass the Three-Strike system, imposing immediate suspension or
termination at its sole discretion.
Failure to Correct Violations
If a reseller fails to correct violations during suspension, a notice letter will be issued
resulting in indefinite suspension. Reinstatement requires full corrective action, a complete
compliance audit, and written approval from TIS Wheels.
